Hi there, thanks for visiting my blog and your interest in my person. So here are some facts about me:

I’m one of those guys who didn’t know what they want to become after their first steps in life. After studying economy, while working at a blind school I started writing, becoming a journalist for an Austrian newspaper. Soon I realized that words are no equitable measure for the truth. Well, photos aren’t either, but somehow I’m stuck to them. After finishing a photo academy where I learned the principles of imagery, light and all the technical laws I started working as an independent photojournalist for international news agency and print media. I spent the whole day either with my camera or developing and learning new techniques. I don’t know whether my profession is vocation or not. The only thing I know for sure is that I want to master it in every discipline.

About the blog

Some people came to me and asked me about my “treasures” – a client actually called it that way. Up to that point I didn’t think of  going public with my private stuff but why not – I have tons of photos nobody has seen and it would be a pity if they got deleted by a fatal system crash or something. Following my journalistic codex I’ll always mention what I did with my photos in the post-production. I’m also going to support other photographers always mentioning their names if i feature a photo of them.

Anyway due to preexisting contractual obligations, I can’t post every shot I took, so I’m going to post pictures that may not represent the state of my profession but are hopefully nice to look at:)
